Mój fraktalowy światek jest poruszony tym, co zdarzyło się w Danii Kallowi i Lynn, jego żonie, a właściwie komuś, kto był u nich przez chwilę...
Lynn zrobiła zdjęcia i opisała wszystko. Ja tylko postaram się dokładnie zacytować...

IS THIS YOUR CAT????????
"CAN YOU HELP ME?"
SHE WAS PUT DOWN THREE HOURS AFTER THIS PICTURE WAS TAKEN BECAUSE YOU LET HER RUN FREE--RIGHT INTO THE PATH OF AN ONCOMING CAR.
My husband found her covering under neighbor's ivy. Her crying had distrubed the elderly couple and they called on my husband's help. He said as soon as he picked her up, she stopped her crying and almost hugged him. Than she started to purr when he stroked her check.
He brought her home to me and I held the almost weightless bundle of fur in my arms while he put together a box for her to rest in. She was very clean--no fleas, no earmites. Obviously a house cat, somebody's pet. But she was hurt somewhere about her left hindquarter. When I shifted her in my arms, she cried out when I touched her there, so I was very careful when I moved, and when I set her down to drink some of the water my husband had gotten her.
My husband made a nest for her out of a collapsable storage box, and lined it with a clean blanket from the car. She settled down in it right away.

I think she knew that she was in caring hands now, that her cries had been answered with kindness. Somebody was keeping the covenant made between her kind and humans so many ages ago.
She slept then, and after a time, woke up and carefully got out of her nest. I knew what was coming--but we had no litter box for her. She carefully squatted over a white square on the carpet and made a puddle of red. We let her do what she needed to do in peace. Not until after she was done, and back in the box did I clean it up,
The blood came up easily, but my heart was very heavy then. I knew it meant internal injuries.
We took her the 15 miles to the vet my husband's sister had often used for her dogs. We left kitty there, with a promise that the vet's office would call us as soon as they knew anything. Their call was already registered on our phone when we got home. My husband called back--sad news, her leg was broken in several places and there was no hope for her. She had been put to sleep.
As I write this, my eyes fill with tears and my heart with anger. There was no need for this cat to have been hit by a car. If only her owners had kept her inside.
I send this out as a plea to pet owners of all kinds, owners of cats, of dogs, birds, any type of animal. Do everything you can to protect the lives of the animals you have taken into your home. They are not disposable toys. They are living creatures that can feel hurt and pain--they can also feel love and comfort, and that is what we as pet owners owe them. When we take them on only for our own amusement, we are making a tragic mistake. Taking on a pet also means taking on the responsibility of caring for that pet
Please forward this to everybody on your forward list. It's an important message that should be heard. There's no promise of instant good luck involved, just the promise that you will feel a little bit better about yourself, that you are helping pets everywhere to avoid the fate of this beautiful young cat here.
Please help
